PETITION - FREE PASTOR SAEED

Dear Conservatives ,
Your help is truly needed! Tomorrow, Naghmeh Abedini, the wife of the American Christian Pastor who is unjustly imprisoned in Iran will testify before the Congressional Joint Subcommittee Hearing on Global Human Rights.
Please help her voice be heard, sign the petition demanding the release of her husband, Pastor Saeed Abedini.
Secretary of State John Kerry left Geneva with a deal to relieve sanctions placed on Iran without discussing the life of the American citizen, father of two children, husband, and pastor who is being held unjustly in an Iranian prison.
Pastor Saeed Abedini has been imprisoned in Iran for over one year when he traveled back there to help finish building an orphanage.
The Iranian government officially refers to him as being a "national security risk” making allegations that Pastor Saeed contributed to the start of hundreds of home churches and helped young Muslims convert to Christianity.
The allegations stem from a visit over 10 years ago and there is no proof.
His only crime is BEING A CHRISTIAN!
Please join our international movement to call on world leaders to demand the release of Pastor Saeed.
Sign our petition here: http://www.citizengo.org/en/988-demand-release-pastor-saeed-abedini
The Whitehouse claims their attempts to call on Iran to free Pastor Saeed are hindered due to the fact that the two nations have no to little diplomatic relationship.

SEN RAND PAUL OPPOSES RYAN/MURRAY BUDGET PROPOSAL

Dear Conservatives,

There is a recurring theme in Washington budget negotiations: "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today."1

The Budget Control Act of 2011 established a spending level of $967 billion for next year.

While these cuts were small and only a first step, they were were at least something.

But now, that is being thrown away, and Washington is being led back down the path to higher spending.

The budget negotiated by Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) kills the sequester cuts and boosts spending over $60 billion to over $1 trillion!

This deal increases our debt by over $7 trillion over ten years.

And it raises taxes as well.

You and I need to stop this in its tracks.

Ryan Makes Budget Deal To Fund ObamaCare And Increase Federal Spending

Details will be forthcoming, but what is known is that Rep. Paul Ryan and Senator Patty Murray have reached a "budget deal" which funds ObamaCare and allegedly "cuts" the federal deficit by a paltry amount but actually allows federal spending to increase.

TEA PARTY 12/11/2013

Dear Patriot,
They are selling us up the river and lying to us in the process. Congress wants to act like they are doing a fabulous job with this 'bi-partisan budget deal', but what they are ultimately doing is lying to themselves, to us, and screwing us, the American taxpayer, in the process. Do not continue to stand for this nonsense! Tell them NO NEW TAXES!

This new budget deal is being praised by some members of Congress, including the two leaders in charge of authoring it, Republican Paul Ryan and Democrat Patty Murray, for cutting $28 billion in spending over TEN years. That's right, you read that correctly. TEN YEARS! The national debt is $17 trillion with an estimated $90 trillion in unfunded liabilities. Yet, we're supposed to rejoice and pat them on the back for cutting $28 billion over 10 years? Who are they kidding? Not us!

GOVERNMENT & POLITICS

Long-Term Vision

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) announced the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2013 Tuesday night, and, as expected, it's a mixed bag. There are no tax increases and no extension of costly unemployment benefits but the compromise also busts the hard-won sequester caps from the 2011 Budget Control Act. Ryan argues, "In divided government, you don't always get what you want. That said, we still can make progress toward our goals. I see this agreement as that kind of progress."

RYAN-MURRAY BUDGET BILL IS A 'BUST'

Fellow Conservatives:

The budget agreement announced yesterday increases spending, raises taxes, and funds Obamacare for two years. It has the support of President Obama, Harry Reid, and countless Democrats in Washington.

What is Mitch McConnell doing to stop it? Nothing. In fact, McConnell was completely silent on the deal yesterday.

Mitch McConnell may vote against the deal so he can pretend to be a conservative, but don't be fooled. He wants the deal to pass. He made it clear that he won't fight the Democrats on spending and he forced his party to surrender.

CONSERVATIVE REVIEWS ARE IN ON RYAN’S BUDGET DEAL: IT SUCKS!

The new budget deal introduced on Tuesday with much fanfare by Rep. Paul Ryan (R) and liberal Sen. Patty Murray (D) landed with a dead-cat thud among fiscal conservatives…

“The result of this budget conference is not acceptable to fiscal conservatives,” declares Matt Kibbe of Freedom Works. “The proposed plan would increase spending $63 billion above the budget caps set by Budget Control Act of 2011—the only actual spending control achieved by Congress under the Obama Administration. The deal claims to offset these costs by increasing various fees, and by making small reforms to government pensions. These new fees aren’t being used to shrink government or balance the budget; they’re simply a mask to help hide the breaching of the budget caps.”

“The solution is not to walk away from progress and add over $60 billion in spending over the next two years,” writes Al Cardenas, chairman of the American Conservative Union. “We are not impressed by the cost cutting gimmicks and urge Members of Congress to tell the Budget Conference to get back to work!"

1.  BOHICA Act of 2013
I am old enough to remember when the GOP said not to worry about it caving on Obamacare funding because, by God, it would hold the line on sequestration.

Hell, that was a month ago.

Amazing how much can change in a month. Congressman Paul Ryan and Senator Patty Murray have decided to give up the last thing the GOP was fighting for — spending restraint. “Don’t worry,” Paul Ryan says with his boyish charm designed to induce sweats and heart palpitations among conservatives, “it’s only a little less restrained.”
