Persian Gulf Muslim States Have Accepted No Syrian Refugees
While the United States and Europe argue over how many Syrian refugees to allow in, the richest Persian Gulf states have accepted exactly zero.
The Muslim countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council that include Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates steadfastly refuse to accept any Syrian refugees. Amnesty International, USA (AIUSA) tells The Daily Caller News Foundation they have not accepted a single refugee since the armed Syrian conflict erupted years ago.

Ankara's Mosul miscalculation
After
the tension that followed Turkey shooting down a Russian jet, Turkey is
now caught up in a controversy with its other critical neighbor, Iraq.
When the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) sent soldiers accompanied by tanks
to the camp at Bashiqa,
20 kilometers (12 miles) from Mosul, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider
al-Abadi issued an ultimatum for Turkish troops to leave within 48
hours. He said Iraq will consider all options, including turning to the
Security Council, should Turkey fail to withdraw. Iraqi Defense Minister
Khaled al-Obeidi said that about 1,000 soldiers had been sent without
informing Baghdad, too many for a training mission.

TURKEY INVADES IRAQ

The Iraqi government has told Turkey to pull out its
troops from Iraq, but the US set the stage decades ago for its allies
to invade any country they choose, as long as they have an excuse (ISIS
in this case). This policy completely erases national sovereignties in
contravention of international law. Thus, even though the Iraqi
government doesn't want the 600 Turkish troops now present there, the US
has given Turkey its tacit permission to ignore this order to pull out.
