Conservatives,This survey is shocking. A majority of American Muslims think they should have the choice to live under sharia law if they so choose. Life under sharia is a nightmare. One need look no further than the lands controlled by the Islamic State to see that freedom and basic human rights are the first things to disappear when the governance of a country is handed over to the religious clerics. Those who have lived under sharia have no desire to ever do it again. This is yet another reason that we must redouble our efforts to educate our friends and neighbors about the very real dangers we face here at home.  |
