Last week, in Parsha Re'eh, God set a blessing and a curse before the Israelites. The blessing would come when they
obeyed God's commandments and the curse if they forsook them. This week’s Torah reading, called Judges (Shoftim in Hebrew),
discusses the issue of justice according to a Biblical perspective. Nevertheless, Yeshua warned us that just as we give out
judgment toward others, so will we be judged ourselves. If we judge others harshly, expecting absolute perfection, being
impossible to please, this will return back on our own heads. However if we judge righteously but balanced with mercy,
then we will also receive mercy and grace in our time of need.

UBER-SUPPORT FOR UBER & LYFT IN VEGAS

Many of you probably don’t know what “Uber” or “Lyft” are.

In short, they are “ride sharing” programs operated with your smart-phone. You sign up to be a customer - giving Uber and/or Lyft your credit card information - and then when you need/want a ride somewhere, instead of calling a taxi you request a ride from an independent Uber or Lyft driver via your smart-phone.

In other words, free market competition.

Not surprisingly, Nevada’s taxi and limo industries are using elected officials and the Nevada Taxicab Authority to keep Uber and Lyft out of Las Vegas. And former Las Vegan Steve Friess recently wrote a column for Las Vegas Weekly headlined, “Why Vegas Doesn’t Need Uber.”

Following is a recap of my writings on this issue which conforms with what millions now proclaim,namely, that the man currently in the White House is not, and never was, the President of the United States; a man who will do anything to prevent his birth records from being viewed, as you will read in this and future articles. In a previous election,I was prepared to vote for Herman Cain until he dropped out of the Race, and I, a Caucasian, am prepared to vote for another African-American in 2016. My voting is not based on the "transparency" a candidate claims to have but on the "transparency" he or she exhibits.

What Leading From Behind Looks Like
I do not think Barack Obama is a closet sympathizer of muslim Jihadists bent on our destruction, but God help me I suddenly understand how some have arrived at that conclusion. To stand up and tell the world that we are going to do zero to help Ukraine and have no strategy to defeat ISIS is just insane.

That the White House staff had to go into complete and total damage control afterwards is telling. But even their damage control was insufficient. They told Wolf Blitzer we had a strategy, just not a strategy to go after them in Syria. But that’s the problem.
