From day one, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) has been clear about his role
as head of the House's special committee on Benghazi. "I want this to
transcend politics," he said. That's a tall order in this chamber, where
Democrats are looking at every order of business as a possible campaign
angle, hoping to catch Republicans at a vulnerable point and spin it
into election gold. On Benghazi, the Democratic Congressional Campaign
Committee is already ginning up opposition to the committee, slamming it
as a GOP fundraising ploy -- instead of what it really is: a
truth-seeking mission."[The Left] raised money on Sandy Hook, they raised money on Katrina, they raised money on Iraq and Afghanistan," Rep. Gowdy pointed out. "It would be helpful if our colleagues on the other side of the aisle did not have selective amnesia when it comes to what's appropriate to raise money off of." Yesterday Christie came to Tennessee to tell US that voting for anyone but Lamar Alexander is "dumb".

Christie is a governor who is presiding over a state with a $2.7 billion budget deficit and has had its credit bond ratings downgraded six times. This might be considered successful governance in New Jersey, but here in Tennessee that's the definition of dumb governance.

which depict this economic meltdown most vividly. The collapse in the "civilian
participation rate" (the number of people working in the economy) and
the "velocity

We know what Barack Obama is thinking. Our own government declares a secret war on our nation's veterans and Barack Obama
probably thinks that he can simply accept the resignation of Eric Shinseki to make the scandal go away
so that the war against our veterans can continue.
Well we're not going to let him get away with it. The resignation of a sacrificial lamb is not enough. We want people fired... we want them perp-walked and charged criminally, because no fix that is meant to reform the Veterans Administration is going to work until there is ACCOUNTABILITY.
And mark our words, once people start facing jail time, answers will come... people will talk... and we're certain the stench of this rotten scandal will lead all the way to the man living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Dear Conservatives,
Barack Obama’s presidency began by promising to:
“Use only one test when deciding what ideas to support with your precious tax dollars: It's not whether an idea is liberal or conservative, but whether it works.”
Yet even programs that have been proven to be useless continue to be funded.
Just look at the so-called Head Start program, which costs taxpayers more than eight billion dollars each year.
In 1985, the Department of Health and Human Services looked at all the studies done since the program’s creation in 1965.
They found that “test scores of former Head Start students do not remain superior to those of disadvantaged children who did not attend Head Start.”

The Cuyahoga Medical Examiner’s Office ruled today that a young woman
died from complications due to a legal abortion she obtained at a
Cleveland abortion clinic earlier this year.
Wilson, 22, died as the result of a heart attack suffered immediately after she underwent a therapeutic abortion. The full autopsy report is not yet available, according to the statement.

For
the most part of my life I have listened to sermons and had discussions
with other Christians about the return of Jesus being imminent.
"Jesus Christ will come like a
thief in the night when you least expect Him. It will happen in the

Those are words I have heard and recall as if I heard them moments ago.
