In federal courts across America, unelected judges with lifetime appointments have been using the bench to overturn state marriage laws and constitutional amendments put in place by the popular will of the people.
These judges need to be stopped!
In some states, frustrated legislators have even sent resolutions to Congress calling on it to impeach these activist judges for allowing their personal bias to supersede state Constitutions and the Tenth Amendment's guarantee of state sovereignty.

Abortionist Who Twists Off Babies’ Heads in Abortions Hasn’t Been Inspected in Years
In
response to a Freedom of Information Act request, Operation Rescue has
received documents that indicate Douglas Karpen’s Texas Ambulatory
Surgical Center in Houston, Texas, has not been inspected since 2010,
despite supposed investigations last year into allegations of that
Karpen killed babies born alive during failed illegal late-term
abortions.
Operation Rescue also received a one-page document that indicated a routine licensing inspection was conducted at Karpen’s second Houston abortion clinic, Aaron Women’s Center, on March 13, 2013. The contents of that report were completely redacted. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/

Tax Freedom Day Is Coming
The Tax Foundation calculates "Tax Freedom Day" each year. "Tax Freedom Day is the day when the nation as a whole has earned enough money to pay its total tax bill for the year," says the group. This year, Tax Freedom Day falls 111 days into the year -- on April 21 -- three days later than last year. However, if the government's borrowing were included, we'd have to wait until May 6. tweeted this morning that the full House Natural Resources Committee approved
Rep. Joe Heck’s bill naming a peak
on Frenchman Mountain on the east side of Las Vegas after President Reagan.
Yesterday
there was talk of amending the bill to add in Rep. Dina Titus’ proposal to name another peak on Frenchman Mountain
after a 1950s Nevada state legislator, but Tetreault reports that no such deal
moved forward after Democrats today insultingly proposed renaming Yucca
Mountain after President Reagan instead.

A not-so-funny-thing happened as I began to dig a bit deeper into Common Core standards. I uncovered the truth about this unconstitutional federalization of our nation's education system: It's a dirty enterprise led by shady characters, including one person from President Obama's past who's "politics" should be kept far, far away from America's children.
By now, most everyone knows that 45 of 50 states rushed to take the Obama "carrot" -- funds being dangled by his administration to endorse Common Core. Most also know that in the years since, there has been a growing, national chorus of jeers from parents, teachers, students and lawmakers, who all are trying desperately to back-peddle away from those standards.

Too often, political "Left v Right" labels are applied without conveying anything substantive about the beliefs or worldviews of the individual upon whom the label has been conferred.
So what's in a name?
To answer that question, I've reviewed my own lists of conservative principles in order to better profile those who identify as "conservative." Again, with apologies to Jeff Foxworthy:

Prosecution WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) released the following statement after the House Ways and Means Committee referred Lois Lerner to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution:
“House investigations have uncovered evidence indicating that IRS official Lois Lerner targeted conservative groups because of their political beliefs, a violation of the law. In 97 pages of detail, the House Ways & Means Committee provides evidence of Lois Lerner’s political bias and prejudice. The evidence made public today shows that Lois Lerner directed IRS agents to deny applications and to audit conservatives. The IRS and Lois Lerner must be held accountable for their actions and I expect Attorney General Holder to take the appropriate steps regarding this criminal referral without further political bias.
