vetting. The answer is no thanks.

best nose in the business. If he endorses a candidate, I will almost certainly

Friends,
I would like to give you my view on the Ukraine situation. In Brazil, the Left
and the Right are saying the same thing: that Russia has invaded a sovereign
state, etc. Interestingly, on the Venezuela situation, occupied today by many
Cuban "physicians" and other "professionals," the (mostly leftist) mainstream
media has been silent. Very appropriately, the Right in Brazil has been
denouncing the many abuses of socialist Maduro.
So
there is a clear difference between their opposing stances. But why is there no
difference over Ukraine? Basically, the Brazilian leftist media is saying the
same things the Right is saying. Of course, the pro-US Right in Brazil is saying
that what is happening in Crimea is a proof that Putin is intent on bringing
back the Soviet Union.
