A Chicago police officer is hospitalized in serious condition with a fractured skull, a victim of black mob violence.
The
officer was responding to a call early Saturday morning when he found
dozens of people in the street, creating mayhem. He immediately called
for back up, but instead of waiting for reinforcements, went to the
assistance of a woman under attack.
Some
members of the mob turned on him: He was attacked by at least one
person — struck on the head with the bat. “No one tried to help him or
stop the attack,” said one Chicago police officer. “That happens a lot:
Mob violence. No assistance. If anything, most of the people are either
participating or encouraging the violence. ”
What
the stories also do not report is more important, say two Chicago
police officers. The crowd was black, also missing from all the news
reports.

The Internal Revenue Service is targeting the veterans’ organization the American Legion, and a U.S. senator believes that Lois Lerner a key figure in the IRS scandal – is to blame.
“The IRS now requires American Legion posts to maintain dates of service and character of service records for all members… The penalty for not having the required proof of eligibility is, apparently, $1,000 per day,” the American Legion stated.
The American Legion was referring to a 13-part section of Part 4, Chapter 76 of the Internal Revenue Manual pertaining to “veterans’ organizations.”

The Use of Chemical Weapons Should Concern Everyone
There are wide spread reports that chemical weapons were used against
civilians in Syria. Should we care about this turn of events?
The use of chemical weapons is proof that our enemies will destroy
human life by any means at their disposal. The West got its fill of
chemical
weapons during World War One. About 4% of the casualties in that
horrific war came from these weapons.
By war's end, the nations of the world agreed in the Geneva Protocols
to outlaw the use of these weapons. Even Adolf Hitler adhered to this
ban
during World War II. (Of course, he nevertheless used gas to exterminate
millions of Jews who he considered sub-humans.)
It takes a barbarian to use these weapons. Saddam Hussein used them
against his own people and now Bashaar Assad appears to have done the
same.
(Israel says it has proof Assad used chemical agents.)
So far the Obama Administration has dropped the ball on this issue.
Over a year ago, President Obama threatened to take some undefined
action if
chemical weapons were used. He has failed to do so, which further
diminishes America's standing in the world. While we agree that there
are no good
options for the United States in Syria, we ask: Why did President Obama risk the credibility of the United states by laying down a red
line that he would not meet?

Now
that America is leading from behind, more serious powers are rushing to
fill the vacuum. Obama seems ready to let that happen, which is why
India just launched its first homemade aircraft carrier and why Japan is
rearming to keep China from stealing the whole South China Sea.
When
America bugs out, what follows is not love and peace -- contrary to
deeply delusional liberals. What happens is a worldwide scramble for
king of the hill. Instability breeds war, as we can see in the news
headlines. Obama knocked over the Mubarak regime in Egypt, a pillar of
peace and stability for thirty years. Now civil war has erupted all over
the place -- Egypt, Libya, and Syria. So much for the vaunted "Arab
Spring." The Iranians are laughing their heads off, getting ready to
sucker the West again.
And
to show his profound concern for all the killing, Obama is sending
vacation postcards from Martha's Vineyard, laughing and smiling and
having fun.
The
Arabs aren't smiling. In Egypt, both sides blame Obama. In Libya and
Syria, we have alienated both sides, too. Behind the scenes, the Saudis
are paying for the Egyptian military to knock down the Muslim
Brotherhood, while the oil sheikhs of Qatar are trying to shaft the
Saudis.
