Palin Suggests It May Be Time To Leave The GOP

Palin took to Facebook today strongly hinting that if the Republican sell-out on amnesty bleeds to the House, it may be time to leave the party.  Referencing this story at Breitbart, Palins said:

[The bill the] Senate passed yesterday is a sad betrayal of working class Americans of every ethnicity who will see their wages lowered and their upward mobility lowered too. And yet we still do not have a secured border. This Senate-approved amnesty bill rewards lawbreakers and won’t solve any problems – as the CBO report notes that millions of more illegal immigrants will continue to flood the U.S. in coming years. Great job, GOP establishment. You’ve just abandoned the Reagan Democrats with this amnesty bill, and we needed them to “enlarge that tent” of which you so often speak. It’s depressing to consider that the House of Representatives is threatening to pass some version of this nonsensical bill in the coming weeks. Once again, I’ll point out the obvious to you: it was the loss of working class voters in swing states that cost us the 2012 election, not the Hispanic vote. Legal immigrants respect the rule of law and can see how self-centered a politician must be to fill this amnesty bill with favors, earmarks, and crony capitalists’ pork, and call it good. You disrespect Hispanics with your assumption that they desire ignoring the rule of law. Folks like me are barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party – and it’s precisely because flip-flopping political actions like amnesty force us to ask how much more bull from both the elephants in the Republican Party and the jackasses in the Democrat Party we have to swallow before these political machines totally abandon the average commonsense hardworking American. Now we turn to watch the House. If they bless this new “bi-partisan” hyper-partisan devastating plan for amnesty, we’ll know that both private political parties have finally turned their backs on us. It will then be time to show our parties’ hierarchies what we think of being members of either one of these out-of-touch, arrogant, and dysfunctional political machines.

Catholic Priest Beheaded in Syria by Al-Qaeda-Linked Rebels as Men and Children Take Pictures and Cheer

 

Syrian Catholic priest Francois Murad killed last weekend by jihadi fighters was beheaded, according to a report by Catholic Online which is linking to video purportedly showing the brutal murder.

As TheBlaze reported last week, Murad, 49, was setting up a monastery in Gassanieh, northern Syria. Last Sunday, on the Christian leader’s Sabbath, extremist militants trying to topple President Bashar Assad breached the monastery and grabbed Murad.

While earlier reports suggested Murad may have been shot to death, Catholic Online reported Saturday: “The Vatican is confirming the death by beheading of Franciscan Father, Francois Murad, who was martyred by Syrian jihadists on June 23.”

The Catholic news service quotes local sources who report that the radical Al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra, or Al-Nusra Front, was behind the savage killing.

In video posted by Live Leak purporting to show the execution, dozens of men and boys are seen cheering on as three men are seated on the ground awaiting their grisly fate.

The following is an article in a local paper, the St Augustine Record, about the 'surprise' for the St Johns County School budget brought about by the 'Affordable Care Act.' If this small a school district is hit for $435,000 in new fees, consider the impact in larger ( and poorer) districts across the nation. Consider also what that total in new fees is across the nation.

Captive in Kuwait: Contract dispute leaves 100 Americans stranded on US Army bases

At least 100 American citizens have been trapped for months on two U.S. bases inside Kuwait after local police unjustly issued warrants for their arrest, a U.S. defense contractor told FoxNews.com.

Most of the Americans were working as Arabic translators for Global Linguist Solutions, which ended a lucrative deal with its sponsoring Kuwaiti subcontractor, Al Shora International General Trading & Contracting and signed on with another company. Sources told FoxNews.com Al Shora’s managing director is the sister-in-law of the Kuwaiti prime minister.

When the contract ended Feb. 17, Al Shora refused to transfer the employees’ visas to the new Kuwaiti subcontractor and falsely accused the Americans of being “runaways and absconders,” according to Charles Tolleson, president of Global Linguist Solutions. His company has barred workers from leaving the bases since May 31 to protect them from arrest and imprisonment.

    Truly disgraceful is the non-reporting by the major media of the existence of many lawsuits, encompassing plaintiffs of Caucasian, Black and Hispanic origin who were or are challenging Obama's claim of "natural-born"American citizenship. What the media gives us is best defined as silence. They even refused to run ads challenging his eligibility. Hundreds of thousands of e-mail petitions were not considered newsworthy; reporters were chastened for bringing up the subject at Obama's news conferences.; all major TV stations hitting the "mute" button on this issue, including one which (sadly) had repeatedly portrayed itself as "fair and balanced."  Media malpractice gone wild! Recently, a CBS nationwide advertising site subsidiary refused to lease any site to Worldnet Daily for electronic signposts which simply read "Where's the Birth Certificate ?" Four simple words yet CBS knew they pertained to Obama. Truly, a guilty conscience needs no accuser.
