According to promotional material, a United States Naval Academy professor is teaching on behalf of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a part of the US Muslim Brotherhood and where global Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi reportedly serves as a trustee. IIIT recently announced its Summer Students Program for 2013 to be held from May 26 – July 3. According to the IIIT announcement, one of the instructors for the program will be Professor Ermin Sinanovic, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland who will be teaching the following course titled “Muslim World Affairs”:

Some years ago I was at a dinner party in Washington. A number of well-known figures were there from the mainstream media, politics and world leaders, including the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. At some point the conversation turned to a discussion of all the things that the guests believed were going wrong in America. There was criticism of our troops and of the Bush administration and the like.

I rose from the table, placed my hand down hard enough that the glasses and silverware clinked. I announced to the gathering that I didn’t believe that “America is what’s wrong with the world.” Then I told my surprised dinner partners that Joyce and I were going home, before dessert had ended.

America is a great country. We are compassionate people, the most generous on earth. Our military is a force for good. Our Constitution and our free market system make our nation the envy of the world. We don’t need to apologize for our country. We need to appreciate that “America is not what's wrong with the world,” and we need leaders who do as well.

In his recent testimony before Congress, US Attorney General Eric Holder, the so-called highest law-enforcement officer in the land, responded to questions about the AP scandal.

Holder's Justice Dept. had secretly subpoenaed and seized the phone records of Associated Press reporters.

Holder stated he didn't know anything about anything, because he had recused himself from the issue and recused himself from the new internal DOJ investigation of the matter.

IRS Official In Charge During Tea Party Targeting Now Runs ObamaCare Office

The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell also reacted to the revelation late Thursday, stating the news was “stunning, just stunning.”

Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.

Her successor, Joseph Grant, is taking the fall for misdeeds at the scandal-plagued unit between 2010 and 2012. During at least part of that time, Grant served as deputy commissioner of the tax-exempt unit.

Grant announced today that he would retire June 3, despite being appointed as commissioner of the tax-exempt office May 8, a week ago.
