And, FINALLY, Savage and Rush, in essence, agree...Savage says: "the bill legalizes the relatives of the illegals AND all those previously deported"! and that "Rubio is a stooge, a sham...and a front for the lobbyists who pushed this through and the damn bill is amnesty and....Rubio is a liar, like the rest of them". And we say he's a front for Schumer.

1968 SCOTUS RULING IS A TRAVESTY AND REFLECTS NO REAL THOUGHT!

  U.S. Supreme Court's 1968 Haynes v. U.S. decision: Haynes, a convicted felon, was convicted of unlawful possession of an unregistered short-barreled shotgun. He argued that for a convicted felon to register a gun waseffectively an announcement to the government that he was breaking the law and that registration violated his Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination. The court, by an 8 - 1 margin, agreed, concluding:  "We hold that a proper claim of the constitutional privilege against self-incrimination provides a full defense to prosecutions either for failure to register a firearm, or for possession of an unregistered firearm."

(Summary from American Rifleman magazine, March 2000, page 20) So, when these gun registration schemes are announced, be very aware that only lawful gun-owners are required to register their firearms.  Unlawfulowners are exempted from registration laws due to their constitutional protection against self-incrimination.   Amazing….. but true.

RUBIO'S IMMIGRATION BILL IS AMNESTY - IT IS NOT REFORM!


The new 844-page Senate immigration bill is 100% pure amnesty and taxpayer benefits with near-instant legalization and work permits for nearly all of the 12-20 million illegal aliens and foreign criminals and terrorists currently hiding in the U.S.  There are zero guarantees of any future border security and enforcement.  This is a horrible bill obviously written by La Raza and other foreign and special interest groups to fundamentally destroy America’s immigration system and national security.  The American People must rise up now and kill this latest amnesty scam.

Call blast Sen. Marco Rubio now!  Tell his offices you will not support him for higher office if he keeps pushing this destructive amnesty bill and lying about it to the American people.  Rubio promised the public in January that he would only support a bill with solid enforcement-first triggers, but he has flip-flopped over to the Obama mass amnesty side by supporting this amnesty-first, open borders, jobs killing bill.

Reply to Rosner - 2000 JUDGES IN CALIFORNIA ARE AFOUL OF LAWS

 Attached hereto please find: (1) a cover letter to Chairmen Leno of the California Senate Budget and Finance Committee and Chairman Blumenfield of the California Assembly Budget Committee; (2) Legislation to Repeal Section 2 of SBX 2 11 and Amend Sections 5 and 6; and (3) a short resume.

As you are aware SBX 2 11, Section 2 extended the illegal payments to "current" judges from counties and courts in 2009 after such were held to violate California Constitution Article 6, Section 19. The 6 year elected terms of these judges are now over and Section 2 is moot. It needs to be repealed to avoid any confusion.

Section 2 also stated that the counties "may elect" to pay all the judges on the court. These payments are illegal both under California Constitution Article 6, Section 19, as held in the decision of  Sturgeon v, County of Los Angeles, 167 Cal.App.4th 167 (2008) Review Denied 12/23/2008, but under California Criminal law and federal criminal law and should not be in the statute.

Section 5 of SBX 2 11 gave the judges who received the illegal county and/or court payments and the county supervisors who made the payments retroactive immunity from criminal prosecution, civil liability and disciplinary action, without forcing them to resign.

Netanyahu thought a moment and said, “I’d like to be remembered as the leader who preserved Israel’s security.”

 As Independence Day celebrations were winding down Tuesday night, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made a guest appearance on Channel 2’s left-wing satire show Eretz Nehederet. One of the final questions that the show’s host Eyal Kitzis asked the premier was how he would like to be remembered after he leaves office.

Netanyahu thought a moment and said, “I’d like to be remembered as the leader who preserved Israel’s security.”

On the face of it, Netanyahu’s stated aspiration might seem dull. In a year he’ll be the longest-serving prime minister in the state’s history, and all he wants is to preserve our national security? Why is he aiming so low? And yet, the studio audience reacted to Netanyahu’s modest goal with a thunderclap of applause.

With the recent Senate defeat of the Marxist effort to expand background checks to possess a firearm toward the ultimate goal of confiscation, no one should be under any illusion that it was a victory for liberty.
It was merely a temporary setback for those who would disarm the people so they can impose their Marxist police state.
All this vote did was give We the People more time to educate and inform our fellow citizens about the need to maintain our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
To that end, we are requesting that our readers send us the very good information that was circulated over the last several months that facilitated this temporary victory.
There have been many very good articles, reports, images, videos and other items that raised awareness among enough of the people to make the difference.
We the People – Alabama intend to compile as much of this information we can collect in order to assemble a resource guide for when the Marxists make their next move.

OBAMA WANT RADICALISM TAUGHT OVER ACADEMIC SUBJECTS

GOP Blasts Obama-backed National Education Standards

The increasingly vocal campaign to stop an Obama administration-backed set of national education standards known as “Common Core” from being forced on state governments and local schools just got a major boost on Friday. Meeting in Los Angeles last week, the Republican National Committee (RNC) unanimously adopted a resolution blasting the “one size fits all” educational scheme as “an inappropriate overreach to standardize and control the education of our children so they will conform to a preconceived ‘normal.’”

Instead of the “Common Core State Standards” being pushed by the Obama administration using taxpayer-funded bribes, the RNC, echoing the 2012 Republican Party Platform, said it believed in providing “broad education choices” to parents and children at the state and local level. A free market-based approach to education is best, the resolution continues, adding that it would help students to achieve individual excellence. 

Among the many complaints against Common Core outlined by the GOP is the fact that the organizations responsible for developing the deeply controversial standards did so through a secretive process that was not subject to Freedom of Information laws. Also on the list of grievances was the scheme’s federally funded testing and data collection, as well as the sharing of “massive amounts of personal student and teacher data.”

Healthcare is one of the most complex policy issues.  The lack of free market healthcare, engendered by endless government interventions (and secondary interventions to fix the original interventions), has made policy solutions even more cumbersome.  But the overarching principle of any reform must begin with the understanding that federal intervention in the healthcare industry has inexorably driven up the cost of healthcare and health insurance.  As such, no healthcare policy panacea can begin with growing government and further distorting the already grossly-altered healthcare market.

Last night the Assembly voted on AB284, and I want to set the record straight about why I was opposed to this bill.

AB284 has been proposed by Assemblywoman Lucy Flores to allow victims of domestic violence to end a lease agreement with their abuser. I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment; however, I could not vote for the bill because of a critical flaw that was not corrected.

Currently, a victim of domestic violence must contact police or request a restraining order to receive protections. Under this bill, we would allow the termination of a lease with a police report, a restraining order or the affidavit of a 3rd party.  

My concern with the 3rd party is that there is no obligation to contact the police so an investigation can be conducted. There is no opportunity for the police to take preventative stepssuch as revoking concealed weapon permits or removing firearms that are allowed when a complaint of domestic violence is filled.
