Liberals accuse conservatives of being arbitrary by limiting marriage to a man and a woman. They don't like it when we draw lines. Our response is two-fold. First, our drawing of the line is not arbitrary. This entire article supports our view. But secondly, liberals themselves are the ones who draw lines and do so arbitrarily. Let's use simple reason. If you say that two men should be allowed to marry, why draw the line there? Why not 3 men, if that meets their particular pursuit of happiness? Why not polygamy? Why not allow a 35 year old man to marry an 8 year old girl? Where do you stop? Wherever the liberal draws the line it is arbitrary.
 
Sometimes we hear the objection that marriage is not about children, that many heterosexual couples do not have children either by choice or sterility. We respond that their sexual union is still the kind of union that God has intended for the procreation of children. So the objection has no force.
 
Only about 4% of gays, even when marriage is an option, actually get married. This is a strong indicator that gay marriage is not really about marriage, but about affirmation.
 
One can reflect on this in a different way. What would be the effect on society if everyone lived faithfully in a natural heterosexual marriage?

The Truth They Don't Want Americans To Know: The Gang Of Eight Amnesty Will Legalize 40 To 60 Million Federal Lawbreakers, Not 11 Million

I beg to differ. The difference between now and 2007 is there are 40 to 60 million illegal aliens in the U.S., not "20 or 38 million" as found by the CAPS Panel Study in October 2007. The Heritage Foundation (which is about to come out with an study of the financial costs of legalizing millions of illegal aliens) is using the 11 million figure. They need to "get with the program" and realize that the 11 million figure was passed back in the early 2000s under G.W. Bush.

The actual number of illegals in the U.S. is 40 to 60 million. Heritage's figures of "$2.5 trillion dollars in added costs to Americans" or whatever the figure is they come up with therefore must be multiplied BY 4! Like, $10 TRILLION DOLLARS?

IT IS NOT 11 MILLION AS IT IS 40-60 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS!

UN Approves Gun Grab; Civilian Disarmament in the Works

On Tuesday, April 2, representatives of the United States of America joined the delegations of 154 other nations in voting to approve the United Nations’ Arms Trade Treaty.

By a vote of 155-3 (with 23 abstentions), the UN General Assembly adopted the treaty, overcoming last week’s failure to adopt the global gun control agreement by consensus.

As far as the U.S. decision to sign on to this treaty, that was made days ago.

While on assignment at the UN to cover the deliberations on the treaty held from March 18-28, this reporter was informed by members of the U.S. delegation that the United States was prepared to vote in favor of adopting the international gun control regulations, but the opportunity was denied them when Iran, Syria, and North Korea joined in opposing passage of the treaty at the conference.

Undaunted, President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry ordered U.S. negotiators to green light the Arms Trade Treaty which, as we have chronicled, is the latest UN attempt to make an end run around the Constitution and subvert American sovereignty to the internationalist body.
