Barack Obama is about to bring a new crisis upon us.
Unfortunately it looks like John Boehner will be the House Speaker, so he will be leading the Republicans, so the crisis will not end well for America.
What is the new crisis that is coming and what will it mean for America?
Barack Obama has thrown down the gauntlet on the Debt Ceiling fight.
He has said he will not negotiate with the Republican majority in the House.
He just expects the GOP to roll over and do what he wants.
If John Boehner remains as Speaker that may well happen.
Obama signaled early on what he wanted with the debt ceiling.
He wants the unlimited authority to incur debt.
He wants to borrow money without any Congressional oversight.
What he really wants is the power to be a dictator.
Barack Obama does not like the American system of government.

“Moderate Mike’s” War on Conservatives
As I noted yesterday, the Nevada Senate GOP Caucus’s removal of veteran State Sen. Barbara Cegavske from her leadership position as Assistant Minority Leader, and Senate Minority Leader “Moderate Mike” Roberson’s removal of Cegavske from the Senate Finance Committee, wasn’t so much because she’s a woman.
Although, as the ONLY Republican woman in the Senate it was certainly a politically dumb decision from a PR standpoint. I mean, with Republicans talking about “legitimate rape” and all, it’s not like the GOP is doing a bang-up job with the gal vote these days, right?
Talk about a self-inflicted wound.
But the truth is, Cegavske was purged from leadership and the Finance Committee for two reasons: First and foremost, because she’s a conservative. Secondly, because she won’t bend down and kiss Roberson’s…er, ring.
Roberson has admitted as much – not by words, but deeds.
Recall his explanation to the media yesterday for “dissing” Cegavske by removing her from the powerful Finance Committee. “Moderate Mike” said he wanted one Republican from the rurals, one from the north and one from the south.
For the southern seat, he replaced conservative Cegavske with…himself.

Washington, DC – (1/4/13) – Generation Opportunity, a national, non-partisan organization advocating for Millennials ages 18-29, is announcing its Millennial Jobs Report for December 2012. The data is non-seasonally adjusted (NSA) and is specific to 18-29 year olds:
- The overall unemployment rate for 18-29 year olds for December 2012 is 11.5 percent (NSA).
- The unemployment rate for 18-29 year old African-Americans for December 2012 is 22.1 percent (NSA); the unemployment rate for 18-29 year old Hispanics for December 2012 is 12.2 percent (NSA); and the unemployment rate for 18–29 year old women for December 2012 is 10.4 percent (NSA).
- The declining labor force participation rate has created an additional 1.7 million young adults that are not counted as "unemployed" by the U.S. Department of Labor because they are not in the labor force, meaning that those young people have given up looking for work due to the lack of jobs.
