The headline on Politico yesterday proclaimed, “The repeal Obamacare chorus quiets.” Newsworks, on the same day, headlined “Obamacare is here to stay,” reporting that “the Republican crusade against Obamacare has ended in failure…”

Even Rush Limbaugh concedes that resistance to ObamaCare has diminished.  In recent days, several stalwart governors caved to the pressures of the federal government and announced they will begin implementing ObamaCare exchanges and expand their state’s Medicare program under the mandates of the badly misnamed Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPAC).

Well, I have news that will disprove the theory that there is no hope!

Lanny Davis: Obama White House Threatened Washington Times Over My Column
Lanny Davis, who served under President Bill Clinton as special counsel to the White House, told Washington, D.C.'s WMAL this morning that the Obama White House had threatened the Washington Times over his column, warning that the Times would suffer limited access to White House officials and might have its White House credentials revoked. Davis, a centrist Democrat, is sometimes critical of the Obama administration's policies.
Davis was speaking with Breitbart News editor Larry O'Connor, who co-hosts a morning show on WMAL. Davis said he had never spoken publicly about the threats before, but they seemed relevant after the White House told legendary reporter Bob Woodward that he would "regret" insisting that the White House had come up with the idea of the budget sequester, which President Barack Obama is now urging Congress urgently to revoke.

Bob Woodward said this evening on CNN that a "very senior person" at the White House warned him in an email that he would "regret doing this," the same day he has continued to slam President Barack Obama over the looming forced cuts known as the sequester.
CNN host Wolf Blitzer said that the network invited a White House official to debate Woodward on-air, but the White House declined.
"I think they're confused," Woodward said of the White House's pushback on his reporting.
Earlier today on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Woodward ripped into Obama in what has become an ongoing feud between the veteran Washington Post journalist and the White House. Woodward said Obama was showing a "kind of madness I haven't seen in a long time" for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.
The Defense Department said in early February that it would not deploy the U.S.S. Harry Truman to the Persian Gulf, citing budget concerns relating to the looming cuts known as the sequester.
"Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying, 'Oh, by the way, I can't do this because of some budget document?'" Woodward said on MSNBC.

Ronald Reagan is often quoted as saying that someone who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is an ally, not an enemy.  Which is fine as it goes. But what about Republicans who regularly violate the GOP platform and fall well below the 80 percent threshold?

Meanwhile, the late, great conservative William F. Buckley is often quoted as saying conservatives should support the most conservative candidate who can win; meaning in Democrat-leaning districts, a moderate Republican would be preferable to a liberal Democrat.

But what if the moderate Republican is running in a Republican-leaning district?  In that case, according to a new project recently launched by the conservative Club for Growth, all bets are off.

In announcing its newest micro-site, the Club says the purpose ofPrimaryMyCongressman.com is “to raise awareness of Republicans in Name Only (RINOs) who are currently serving in safe Republican seats.”

Yahoo! has a new CEO named Marissa Meyer. She just had a baby. She was criticized during her pregnancy for how she would or would not take maternity leave. Basically everything the lady does appears to be criticized.

But the newest media outrage is perhaps the stupidest, most selfish bottom feeding outrage the media can muster.

Marissa Meyer has decided that employees can no longer telecommute. They must get into a Yahoo! office.

How dare she. The outrageous reporting is both entirely predictable and easily would be the stupidest media coverage in American today except for all the leftwing reporters under 50 attacking Bob Woodward for daring to criticize their idol. Pop Quiz: What Republican state senator co-sponsored the “campus carry” bill – a law allowing CCW permit holders to protect themselves in college campus garages and grounds from rapists, murderers and muggers - in 2011 but conspicuously has opted NOT to co-sponsor the same bill this year? 

Answer:  Yep, that would be that same state senator who voted against extending the $620 million worth of “temporary” tax hikes in 2011 but now supports socking it to you this year: Sen. “Moderate Mike” Roberson.

Speaking of “Moderate Mike,” SB 182 would force parents to send their little 5-year-old kid to kindergarten whether the parents think that’s the right thing to do for their child or not.  If this keeps up, the government’s going to be grabbing our kids out of the womb!

As outrageous as such a proposal is…yep, I’m told “Moderate Mike” supports it.

 day in Norfolk. The Obama Administration ordered 5 nuclear carriers into harbor for"routine" (?) inspections...I guess they forgot what happened at Pearl Harbor when they did this last. Heads of the Navy were flabbergasted by the directive. What the hell is going on??

OBAMA ENDANGERING AMERICAN CITIZENS TO FURTHER HIS LIES!

This has been going on forever. 
My June 16, 2007 article shows that an INS facility for assisting ex cons with residency paperwork was erected on the grounds of at least one prison housing illegal alien felons (York County Prison in PA). The article shows that most were actual felons, not just in jail for violating immigration laws. This was under GW Bush. The article is titled "Wanted, a few bad men":

The fact that it is happening under Obama now is a blessing in disguise because now even some myopic GOP elites can see that releasing criminals onto our streets instead of deporting them is not a good thing.

Tyranny Requires Equality


Question: What is required for a set of uniform codes and regulations to apply to all the persons of the United States?
Answer: Uniformity of legal equality under the law. In other words, equal rights.
It is an ultra-common misconception amongst the subjected people of the United States in their thought that “rights” are always a good thing, and that “rights” are always somehow a protection against the erosion and encroachment of government and corporations (persons) into the people’s personal liberties. To be even more clear, the general thought is that rights are always in place to prevent things like crime, extortion, tyranny, foreclosure, unlawful searches and seizures, incarceration, and so on from happening to the people.
