     You read that right. The fall guys aren't even taking the fall... they're still on the payroll... because the Obama Regime thought you wouldn't notice. 

       The New York Post reports: "The four officials supposedly out of jobs because of their blunders in the run-up to the deadly Benghazi terror attack remain on the State Department payroll — and will all be back to work soon." 

       And why should these fall guys take the fall? It becomes more clear, with each passing day, that the Benghazi-gate scandal is NOT about State Department ineptitude that lead to the deaths of Americans. 

       As far as the Obama Regime is concerned, those Americans had to die to cover-up the real scandal... that fact that the Obama Regime is working, behind the scenes, with Soros-funded organizations and giving aid to America's enemies under the guise of an "Arab Spring." 

       Only Congress can get to the bottom of the REAL SCANDAL, but whether or not they have the guts to do it is up to you.

TEXAS - INDEPENDENCE BILL - READ IT HERE!

It is getting beyond the talking stage. Now at some point, if the Fed keeps debasing the dollar, someone will need a stable currency. Texas could conceivably start the movement toward this--if it is serious, that is.

One thing is clear: Democrat states and our Democrat federal government are careening toward bankruptcy.

Knowing the Fed as I think I do, I would fully expect them to issue more unbacked currency to bail out these profligate states. Unless your state were independent by that time, you would be paying the price of this policy. This would definitely be unsustainable but that would not stop these insane people, and you would be caught in the middle. The dollar would quickly become worthless. Any state wishing to push back in an effort to survive would eventually need to become independent of the plummeting dollar.

I have suggested this before but have gotten nothing but blank stares. Maybe this time someone is listening? I mean, what is the point of declaring independence if your state is still subject to the vicissitudes of suicidal federal monetary policy? Independence means nothing without monetary independence.

A longtime substitute teacher in Phillipsburg, NJ, faces a 90-day suspension after he was accused of sharing a Bible verse with a student – and then giving the child a Bible.

The Phillipsburg School Board said Walter Tutka broke two policies – distributing religious literature on school grounds and another policy that directs teachers to be neutral when discussing religious material.

The controversy has generated outrage among the region’s religious community – with many claiming that Tutka is being “persecuted” for simply being a Christian. The electrical company retiree is a well-respected member of the community.

“It was appalling,” said Joe Imhof, a close friend of Tutka. “They read him the riot act. They used words like separation of church and state and inclusion. And then they sent him home for violating school district policy.”

Heller Amendment Protecting Nevada Veterans Passes Senate, Sent to President for Signature  

(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) praised Senate passage of the final version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which included his amendment to protect Nevada veterans from changes to TRICARE benefits.

Heller’s amendment, which was included in the final Conference report, requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to issue a report on the possible termination of TRICARE Prime health coverage. This termination could affect many military retirees and their families in Northern Nevada.  Representatives Greg Walden (OR-2) and Mark Amodei (NV-2) introduced similar legislation in the House of Representatives.  

“The men and women who served in the Armed Forces deserve the most comprehensive set of benefits we can provide. For the Department of Defense to make any changes to these benefits without a full explanation is simply unacceptable. With this legislation, Nevada’s heroes will finally get answers about any possible changes to their TRICARE Prime coverage. I would like to thank Representatives Amodei and Walden for their work on this issue,” said Senator Dean Heller.

Gumby Republicans – whose default negotiating position is usually wholesale capitulation – are squawking for the GOP to “compromise” with Democrats in the so-called “fiscal cliff” negotiations.  A similar strain of “appease disease” runs strong among many Republicans in Carson City, as well.
 
An interesting development, however, has been the use of Ronald Reagan to excuse the rush to concession.  For example, the Washington Examiner recently published an editorial in which Reagan is quoted to have said the following in 1983: “I have always figured that a half a loaf is better than none, and I know that in the democratic process you’re not going to always get everything you want.”
 
However, now consider the following from Lee Edwards of the Heritage Foundation:
 
“(Ronald Reagan) was willing to accept less than 100 percent if that was all he could get and if the agreement moved him toward his basic goal of minimizing government and maximizing individual freedom. As he once said of his landmark welfare reforms in California, ‘If I can get seventy percent of what I want from a legislature controlled by the opposition, I'll take my chances on getting the other thirty when they see how well it works.’

Comment: The column says "60% of all Americans have little or no trust in the mainstream media". Our polls show it to be consistently closer to 70%. Still, that is a MAIN REASON why all your friends also need to be reading our newsletter and particularly the Patriot columnists who have been on top of "all this" for years.
