Congress Vacates Washington, Obama and Israel Prepare to Attack the Middle East
The entire Congress in Washington has left the Capitol and will be on hiatus until after the November election. This unprecedented move effectively shuts down the most important branch of our government in the weeks leading up to election season.
Although Congress has traditionally left Washington, DC to campaign for elections, this year marks the earliest departure in decades. GOP leaders left with unfinished business on their desks. And with recent changes in our nation’s climate (i.e. QE3 and the looming threat of war in the Middle East) Congress appears to be willing to take the verbal bashing by being called “lame-duck” rather than continue working on Capitol Hill.
There is no shortage of name calling in the mainstream media. The new federal budget was ushered to Obama before Congress vacated the Capitol. However, other issues like taxes, farm policy and legislation to “save the Postal Service from insolvency” were abandoned as if not important.
The Congress also made sure that a new $635 billion defense budget was passed in the House, while the Senate had yet to vote.
Leaving spending cuts to the tune of $109 in the defense and non-defense budget for established programs undecided simply allowed them to automatically take place at the inception of the New Year since alternatives were not met.
Why would our elected Congress leave Washington, DC so suddenly, with unfinished work as if abandoning their post?
TO THINK OBAMA IS OUR PRESIDENT IS MIND BOGGLING

A political Lithium deficiency was unleashed this week at the UN with radical left-wing, anti-Semitic leaders prostrating themselves to each other. But hey, don’t walk out on a terrorist giving a speech; you might cause the U.N. to develop the Aunt Pitty Pat vapors.
Wednesday’s insanity, which was displayed over two days, began first with Barry Obama cleverly apologizing to the world for America’s very existence. But that’s to be expected from a man who coddles terrorists while apologizing to them for their nation’sviolence against America:
The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims.
That right there was appeasement double speak, as well as typical insanity displayed at the U.N.

In 1992, Andrew Rosenthal of the New York Times wrote a story about President George H. W. Bush expressing surprise at a common supermarket checkout scanner. The story was picked up by major publications and editorialists across the country as a common narrative that George H. W. Bush, a World War II veteran, Ambassador to China, CIA Chief, Vice President, and President had grown out of touch with America during his time in Washington.
The story about George H. W. Bush and the supermarket scanner is still picked up and recycled as a cautionary tale in growing out of touch in Washington.
There’s just one problem — the story was a complete and utter fabrication. Andrew Rosenthal was not there, did not see it, and based it off a pool report that never actually claimed what Andrew Rosenthal claimed. Don’t believe me? See this entry at Snopes.com for yourself.
