Conservatives,
Americans are justifiably alarmed about the federal government’s apparent unwillingness to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities by adhering to the rule of law as clearly defined by our nation’s founding document.
According to a recent poll, Congress’ approval ratings match an all-time low, approval of the federal judiciary is sinking, and the administration’s approval ratings remain well under 50%.
With business owners, the administration’s approval rating is closer to 35%, especially due to the threat of even higher taxes as ObamaCare’s provisions continue to be implemented.
But Americans’ growing concerns also arise from the damage this administration and Congress have inflicted on our Constitution and its restrictions on the federal government’s power.
In recent decades, time and time again, we have watched legislative processes being short-circuited by radical factions of congressional leadership working in concert with administration arm-twisters.
And what an adventure on Saturday! I think we broke about 17 federal laws on a kayak trip about 2/3 of a mile from shore to what is known as Seal Rock.
