Conservatives are reeling from the ObamaCare ruling a few weeks ago, and understandably so. But there was a key line in Justice Roberts' opinion that you need to see: "Members of this Court are vested with the authority to interpret the law; we possess neither the expertise nor the prerogative to make policy judgments. Those decisions are entrusted to our Nation’s elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices."

As much as I disagreed with the ruling, Justice Roberts was right about one thing:

The power is in our hands and nobody else's. If we want to stop ObamaCare, we must retake control of the United States Senate and repeal it ourselves. Nobody else is going to do it for us. That's why I am writing you today. My name is Sarah Steelman, I am running for United States Senate from Missouri. I need your help right now to defeat Claire McCaskill, retake this Missouri Senate seat, and then repeal ObamaCare once and for all.

In the United States today, approximately 75 percent of all processed foods contain corn. So a huge rise in the price of corn is going to be felt all over the supermarket. Corn is also widely used to feed livestock, and if this crisis continues we are going to see a significant rise in meat and dairy prices as well. Food prices in America have already been rising at a steady pace, and so this is definitely not welcome news.”

Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. This isn't what you were looking for, but it's is the most honest response I can give you. Our coverage gap is a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith. While we have proudly maintained our membership for years and long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse its abdication of our values. Your letter stated that we can count on AARP to speak up for our rights, yet the voice we hear is not ours.
