Yesterday, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over.

It was always a liberal pipedream that a 2,700 page, multi-trillion-dollar Federal Government takeover of our health care system actually could address the very serious problems we face with health care. With Obamacare fully installed, government will reach fully half of the economy — that is the recipe for a struggling economy and declining prosperity.

The neocons insist we must stay involved militarily in the Middle East, where our military and political adventures have led to the almost total elimination of the Christian population.

Despite his engagement in a bloody civil war, Assad is the head of the only pro-Christian nation in the region, but the West wants him dead.

Of our allies, ONLY China and Russia (powers that we can't afford to mess with) are willing to defend these Christians.

The world is topsy-turvy.

ADDITIONAL OBAMACARE LIES

TAX DOLLARS COVER ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT HEALTH CARE
 

While illegal immigrants may not officially be covered by ObamaCare (and subject to the penalty tax for failing to comply) , they ARE COVERED by a $28.8 million grant tucked away inside the monstrous Affordable Care Act.

The grant to 67 community health centers offering FREE care to migrant works (often illegal immigrants) was announced on Aug. 9, 2011, by the Department of Health and Human Services.

According to HHS spokeswoman Judy Andrews, as part of that grant “approximately $8.5 million will be used by 25 New Access point awardees to target services to migrant and seasonal farm workers.”

I friend asked me if these “random thoughts” were original, or items I was passing on. I thinkthey are original, and try to note if something crosses my desk from another source. But there’s no way to tell when or by whom the seeds were planted that sprouted into these weeds. And sometimes I read something that triggers a thought that’s derivative.

With the ObamaCare individual mandate fine for not buying insurance being upheld as a constitutional, “tax,” the GOP should file legislation placing a $2,000 public safety tax on every household that does not have a loaded firearm for protection.

Since the individual mandate has been declared a tax, people are starting to notice that it’s a tax on the young and poor, who often can’t afford insurance, but grants exemptions/tax breaks to large corporations, rich unions and wealth donors.

If President Obama can issue an Executive Order that the government won’t enforce immigration law, President Romney can do the same with ObamaCare.

I will give up my Constitution when Barack Obama pries my cold, dead, clinging fingers from it!

(Reuters) - Five of the biggest banks in the United States are putting finishing touches on plans for going out of business as part of government-mandated contingency planning that could push them to untangle their complex operations.

The plans, known as living wills, are due to regulators no later than July 1 under provisions of the Dodd-Frank financial reform law designed to end too-big-to-fail bailouts by the government. The living wills could be as long as 4,000 pages.

Since the law allows regulators to go so far as to order a bank to divest subsidiaries if it cannot plan an orderly resolution in bankruptcy, the deadline is pushing even healthy institutions to start a multi-year process to untangle their complex global operations, according to industry consultants.

Russia and China vow to protect Syria from becoming another Libya

It is now widely known that the Obama administration, with the help of its allies, is planning to launch an offensive against the Assad regime in Syria. The attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, with the help Israel, also seems to be on the cards. In such a situation, where Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya have proven to be clear fiascos, the dwindling world economic scene can least afford another major conflict. 

Such interventions would not only induce wide scale human loss but would also bring with them adverse economic effects for the world states.  And with the recent announcement of joint war games, and one of the biggest, among China, Russia, Iran and Syria, the signal is going strong for forces that wish to intervene in either Syria or Iran.

Iran's Fars news agency reported that more than 90,000 soldiers from the aforementioned 4 countries would take part in the military exercises, making it the largest in regional history. Theses war games will include air defense and missile units as well as ground, air and naval forces and are scheduled for early July.

Where Goeth Ron Paul/Gary Johnson Voters in Nevada?
 
Considering how close presidential elections have been in recent years, conservative votes for the Libertarian Party nominee, former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson – who is likely to be the preferred back-up option for Ron Paul supporters – could swing enough votes in enough swing states to swing the election…and control of the Supreme Court for a generation…to Obama in November.

So what does the GOP do about all those conservative/libertarian voters who still aren’t sold on voting for Mitt Romney?

First, Republicans need to understand that browbeating and kvetching about “wasting your vote” on a third-party candidate will only cause those voters to dig in their heels.  Instead, you might want to brush up on Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends” advice.

Chief Justice Roberts Is A Genius

Before you look to do harm to Chief Justice Roberts or his family, it’s important that you think carefully about the meaning – the true nature — of his ruling on Obama-care. The Left will shout that they won, that Obama-care was upheld and all the rest. Let them.

It will be a short-lived celebration.

Here’s what really occurred — payback. Yes, payback for Obama’s numerous, ill-advised and childish insults directed toward SCOTUS.

Chief Justice Roberts actually ruled the mandate, relative to the commerce clause, was unconstitutional. That’s how the Democrats got Obama-care going in the first place. This is critical. His ruling means Congress can’t compel American citizens to purchase anything. Ever. The notion is now officially and forever, unconstitutional. As it should be.
