House Votes to Repeal Net Neutrality

House lawmakers on Friday voted to roll back the FCC's net neutrality rules, dealing another political blow to one of Chairman Julius Genachowski's top priorities.
The full chamber cleared the Republicans’ measure on a mostly party-line 240-179 vote, despite the protests of Democrats who said the chamber should have instead been focusing on the looming threat of a government shutdown.

By outlawing incandescent lights in favor of compact fluorescent lighting, the environmentalists said the country would reduce energy consumption by $18 billion a year, or save consumers between $80 to $180 on their electric bills per year. The plus for the globalists? They said it would reduce global warming because one of the causes of global warming is...you guessed it...the old fashioned Tom Edison light bulb Please FAX every Member of our U.S. Congress to urge them to vote for the BULB Act and H.R. 6411, so our lives do not have to be run by federal bureaucrats or environmentalists in the privacy of our own homes. This is a fight that must be fought to save the free enterprise system from the "green energy" advocates who don't care if "green energy" costs a lot more "green" than cost-efficient, and safe lighting. who is unwilling to sacrifice to help balance the people's budget runs the risk of losing it all

when government defaults on the debt it has created, because We the People are not going to give up our standard of living

In 1983, the British Labor Party under the hard-left Michael Foot issued a 700-page manifesto so radical that one colleague called it “the longest suicide note in history.” House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan has just released a recklessly bold, 73-page, 10-year budget plan. At 37 footnotes, it might be the most annotated suicide note in history.
That depends on whether (a) President Obama counters with a deficit-
reduction plan of equal seriousness, rather than just demagoguing the Ryan plan till next Election Day, (b) there are any Republicans beyond the measured, super-wonky Ryan who can explain and defend a plan of such daunting scope and complexity, and (c) Americans are serious people.

Democrats would rather spend our tax money funding such programs as NPR and Planned Parenthood so they can continue receiving funds from those organizations than guarantee paying our military.

Not only has NPR stated there lack of need of federal funding but was caught soliciting money from a terrorist organization! Planned Parenthood, a female only entity, provides nothing more than abortion services. I stress  'female only' as this is in direct opposition to the U.S. Constitution Equal Rights provision.

Weak sister Republicans are finding the words to declare victory as they want to allow funding for NPR and Planned Parenthood to remain intact. They'd just as soon allow wasteful spending and continued aborting rather than standing firm on sound principles.

The minions of Obama, including Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi would rather lie, attempt to scare seniors and spend more of America's tax dollars than see fiscal sanity be the rule. To them it is the power and perks they enjoy not our military or the citizens of this great nation.

We hear all the gruesome effects a governmental shut down will have as voiced by the Left. Well, America now sees just which Party represents the people and which Party is only seeking more power! We do not hear all the imaginable horror stories from Republicans, but are getting an earful from the Left!

If you do just one thing this will never happen again. That one thing is to VOTE OUT THE LEFT as YOU VOTE FOR SANITY!

In the below-linked video, Jim Moran can't explain why the Dems had to refuse payment to the troops. They claim it was because the Republicans won't vote in favor of a budget that adds more debt than we can afford. That's true. The Republicans won't vote for a budget package that adds more debt than we can afford.

And Moran can't explain why his party wants to keep bankrupting America, so his ultimate answer is shut up or get out.

What this Democrat really means is :

Sit down, America while we steal everything you have. You still have a few bucks left in your pocket. Sit down, shell out and leave us alone as we steal your incomes, your jobs and your country. How dare you talk back to the Congress you elected?

The Job of Congress

While in Washington, DC on business, I was in a meeting with a legislative policy aide to a US Senator. Explaining why they had delegated authority to a non-elected panel to make decisions, she said, “As you know, Congress isn’t good at making money decisions.” “Excuse me,” I said, “Isn’t that their job? Suppose I sent you to a surgeon, and told you, ‘He’s really not very good at surgery, but you should go to him anyway, and pay him well for his services,’ would you go?” She had no answer.

So, the situation is that when the Democrats controlled everything by large majorities, back when the 2011 budget was supposed to go into effect in October of 2010, they couldn’t pass a budget. Now the Republicans control the House, and the House has passed a budget, like it or not. The Senate, controlled by Democrats, has not. But if the government shuts down, the media will make people believe it’s the Republicans’ fault. The heart despairs.
