OBAMA BEING DUPLICITOUS

Obama is screwing the US and Israel

By Ted Belman

While most eyes are on Mubarak, they should be on Obama. By supporting the rioters and even supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama is knifing two long time allies, Egypt and Israel, in the back. He is also underming the US. Who will ever trust the word of the US in the future. America will rightly be seen as an untrustworthy ally. Goodbye South Korea. Goodbye Formosa.
Muslim Brotherhood Wants War With Israel, January 31
Mohamed Ghanem, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, calls Egypt to stop pumping gas to Israel and prepare the Egyptian army for a war with it’s eastern neighbor.Speaking with Iranian television station Al-Alam, Mohamed Ghanem blamed Israel for supporting Hosni Mubarak’s regime. Ghanem also said that the Egyptian police and army won’t be able to stop the Muslim Brotherhood movement….

Op-Ed: Egypt’s turmoil leaves Israel silent and worried

By Alan Elsner · January 31, 2011

Allen Elsner
WASHINGTON (JTA) -- The uprising in Egypt that looks like it may sweep away President Hosni Mubarak’s 30-year-old regime threatens to deprive Israel of its most important strategic ally in the region.

Israeli leaders have been silent about the events in Egypt and are powerless to affect the outcome. But they and the entire Israeli population are gravely concerned that the turmoil will ultimately bring to power a new government hostile to the Jewish state.

At a time when Israel’s relations with Turkey, its other traditional regional ally, have deteriorated sharply, and when Hezbollah is strengthening its grip in Lebanon, the developments in Egypt will likely deepen a sense of vulnerability in the Israeli public and strengthen the government’s determination to keep security its No. 1 priority.

There is also the danger of a domino effect. Challenges have been sparked to the monarchy in Jordan -- the only other Arab country to have made peace with Israel -- as well as governments throughout the Arabian Peninsula that control most of the world’s oil supplies.

Malcolm Hoenlein: ElBaradei 'Stooge of Iran'

Monday, 31 Jan 2011 11:48 AM

Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice president of the Council of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, says that Americans are being fooled if they think Mohammed ElBaradei is anything resembling the Nelson Mandela of South Africa.

Far from being a human rights leader, ElBaradei is a weak stooge of Iran, said Hoenlein, whose thinking is likely in league with that of other Israeli conservatives like current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"There is a myth being created that ElBaradei is a human rights activist," Hoenlein told the Orthodox Jewish site Yeshiva World News. "He is a stooge of Iran, and i don't use the term lightly. When he was the head of the International Atomic Energy Agnecy, for which he got a Nobel Peace Prize, he fronted for them, he distorted the reports."

Himalayan glaciers not melting because of climate change, report finds

Himalayan glaciers are actually advancing rather than retreating, claims the first major study since a controversial UN report said they would be melted within quarter of a century.

Researchers have discovered that contrary to popular belief half of the ice flows in the Karakoram range of the mountains are actually growing rather than shrinking.

The discovery adds a new twist to the row over whether global warming is causing the world's highest mountain range to lose its ice cover.

It further challenges claims made in a 2007 report by the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that the glaciers would be gone by 2035.

Although the head of the panel Dr Rajendra Pachauri later admitted the claim was an error gleaned from unchecked research, he maintained that global warming was melting the glaciers at "a rapid rate", threatening floods throughout north India.

NOW THIS IS A TRUE SCHOOLTEACHER

A lesson that should be taught in all schools . . And colleges

Back in September, on the first day of school, Martha Cothren, a social studies school teacher at Robinson High School
( Little Rock Arkansas ) did something not to be forgotten. On the first day of school, with the permission of the school superintendent, the principal and the building supervisor, she removed all of the desks out of her classroom.

When the first period kids entered the room they discovered that there were no desks.

'Ms.. Cothren, where're our desks?'

She replied, 'You can't have a desk until you tell me how you earn the right to sit at a desk.'

They thought, 'Well, maybe it's our grades.'

'No,' she said.

'Maybe it's our behavior.'

She told them, 'No, it's not even your behavior.'

And so, they came and went, the first period, second period, third period. Still no desks in the classroom.

By early afternoon television news crews had started gathering in Ms.Cothren's classroom to report about this crazy teacher who had taken all the desks out of her room.

The final period of the day came and as the puzzled students found seats on the floor of the deskless classroom, Martha Cothren said, 'Throughout the day no one has been able to tell me just what he/she has done to earn the right to sit at the desks that are ordinarily found in this classroom. Now I am going to tell you.'

At this point, Martha Cothren went over to the door of her classroom and opened it.

Twenty-seven (27) War Veterans, all in uniforms, walked into that classroom, each one carrying a school desk. The Vets began placing the school desks in rows, and then they would walk over and stand alongside the wall... By the time the last soldier had set the final desk in place those kids started to understand, perhaps for the first time in their lives, just how the right to sit at those desks had been earned..

Martha said, 'You didn't earn the right to sit at these desks. These heroes did it for you. They placed the desks here for you. Now, it's up to you to sit in them. It is your responsibility to learn, to be good students, to be good citizens. They paid the price so that you could have the freedom to get an education. Don't ever forget it.'
By the way, this is a true story.

Judge Rules Health Care Law Is Unconstitutional
Excerpt: A U.S. district judge ruled Monday that the health care law unconstitutional because it violates the Commerce Clause Judge Roger Vinson said as a result of the unconstitutionality of the "individual mandate" that requires people to buy insurance, the entire law must be thrown out. "I must reluctantly conclude that Congress exceeded the bounds of its authority in passing the Act with the individual mandate. That is not to say, of course, that Congress is without power to address the problems and inequities in our health care system. The health care market is more than one sixth of the national economy, and without doubt Congress has the power to reform and regulate this market. That has not been disputed in this case. The principal dispute has been about how Congress chose to exercise that power here," Vinson wrote. "Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void," he wrote. (Now it goes to the Supreme Court, where it’s likely to be decided either way 4-3. ~Bob.)

Clinton: 'We're not advocating any specific outcome' in Egypt crisis
Not counting Biden saying the guy who’s held absolute power for 30 years wasn’t a dictator and her saying we supported an orderly transition. Mixed messages from the teleprompter brigade. ~Bob. Excerpt: The Obama administration struggled to maintain a careful balance on its response to the crisis in Egypt on Sunday, which continued to spiral out of control as armed gangs broke hundreds of militants out of Egyptian jails and the U.S. Embassy warned citizens to consider leaving the country as soon as possible. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton made the rounds on all five Sunday shows, advocating that the people's voice be heard while taking care not to call for a departure of President Hosni Mubarak.

Obama administration aligns itself with protests in Egypt with call for 'orderly transition'
Excerpt: The Obama administration firmly aligned itself on Sunday with the protest movement that has overtaken Egypt, calling for an "orderly transition" to a more representative government amid rising U.S. concern that the demonstrations are turning violent and that unrest could spread across the Arab world. In telephone calls to Egyptian and regional leaders, President Obama and his top national security advisers tried to reassure them that their countries remain vital U.S. strategic partners, while warning that the political status quo is not sustainable. Senior administration officials said that the "transition" wording, used by both the White House and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, was carefully chosen to indicate a desire for a representative, interim government to run Egypt until scheduled presidential elections are held in September.

Israel Shocked by Obama's Betrayal of Mubarak
Excerpt: If Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak is toppled, Israel will lose one of its very few friends in a hostile neighborhood and President Barack Obama will bear a large share of the blame, Israeli pundits said on Monday. Political commentators expressed shock at how the United States as well as its major European allies appeared to be ready to dump a staunch strategic ally of three decades, simply to conform to the current ideology of political correctness. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told ministers of the Jewish state to make no comment on the political cliffhanger in Cairo, to avoid inflaming an already explosive situation. But Israel's President Shimon Peres is not a minister. "We always have had and still have great respect for President Mubarak," he said on Monday. He then switched to the past tense. "I don't say everything that he did was right, but he did one thing which all of us are thankful to him for: he kept the peace in the Middle East."

US JUDGE MAY ESCALATE BATTLE OVER HEALTHCARE REFORM

* Judge would be second to rule law unconstitutional

* Ruling marks major challenge to federal authority

* Judge may seek to invalidate law, order injunction

By Tom Brown

MIAMI, Jan 31 (Reuters) - A Florida judge could on Monday become the second U.S. judge to declare President Barack Obama's healthcare reform law unconstitutional, in the biggest legal challenge yet to federal authority to enact the law.

The judge, Roger Vinson of the U.S. District Court in Pensacola, Florida, was expected to rule on a lawsuit brought by governors and attorneys general from 26 U.S. states, almost all of whom are Republicans. Obama is a Democrat.

The plaintiffs represent more than half the U.S. states, so the Pensacola case has more prominence than some two dozen lawsuits filed in federal courts over the healthcare law.

No specific time has been given for Vinson's ruling, which was unlikely to end the legal wrangling over the contentious reform law, which could well reach the U.S. Supreme Court.

But an aide said he was determined to issue his opinion in the course of Monday on the suit filed on March 23, 2010, just hours after Obama signed the reform into law.

The healthcare overhaul, a cornerstone of Obama's presidency, aims to expand health insurance to cover millions of uninsured Americans while also curbing costs. Administration officials insist it is constitutional and needed to stem huge projected increases in healthcare costs.

Two other district court judges have rejected challenges to the "individual mandate," the law's requirement that Americans start buying health insurance in 2014 or pay a penalty.

But a federal district judge in Richmond, Virginia, last month struck down that central provision of the law in a case in that state, saying it invited an "unbridled exercise of federal police powers."

The provision is key to the law's mission of covering more than 30 million uninsured. Officials argue it is only by requiring healthy people to purchase policies that they can help pay for reforms, including a mandate that individuals with pre-existing medical conditions cannot be refused coverage.

'WITHOUT PRIOR PRECEDENT'

Vinson has suggested strongly that he too will rule the individual mandate oversteps constitutional limits on federal authority. He may also move to invalidate the entire law, by granting the plaintiff states' request for an injunction to halt its implementation.

"The power that the individual mandate seeks to harness is simply without prior precedent," Vinson wrote in an earlier opinion in October.

Will The Left Wing Media Treat Chuck Schumer the Same Way They Treat Sarah Palin? Doubtful!

As NewsBusters has been reporting, the folks at MSNBC last week - in particular Chris Matthews - spent a great deal of time attacking former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) for comments they erroneously felt disqualified the conservative women from public office.
Will this network and its commentators pay as much attention to Sen. Chuck Schumer's (D-N.Y.) remarks on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday wherein he claimed the three branches of government are the House, the Senate, and the president (video follows with transcript and commentary):

CANDY CROWLEY, HOST: Let me turn you to domestic policy because it is budget season. It is time to raise the debt ceiling. Otherwise the U.S. is going to lose its ability to pay its debts.
Where do you see this fight going now?

Because, basically, we have a very determined bunch of Republicans right now, particularly on the House side, saying, no way we're going to raise this debt ceiling until we start doing some cutting.
SEN. CHUCK SCHUMER (D-N.Y.): Well, there's even a problem before the debt ceiling. On March 4th, the government funding resolution expires. And it seems that a lot of Republicans in the House want to risk a shutdown of the government if they don't absolutely get their way.

That was a mistake when Newt Gingrich tried it in 1995. It will be a bigger mistake now. It's really playing with fire because, if they were to shut down the government, not only would horrible things happen like an inability of people to get Social Security checks, you can't fund the military, but ultimately, it risks the credit markets.

They are getting wary because of the large debt we have, which we have to get down, but if they feel that people are willing to shut down the government, you could risk the credit markets really losing some confidence in the United States Treasury, and that could create a deeper recession than we had over the last several years -- God forbid, even a depression.

So I would urge my Republican colleagues, no matter how strongly they feel -- you know, we have three branches of government. We have a House. We have a Senate. We have a president. And all three of us are going to have to come together and give some, but it is playing with fire to risk the shutting down of the government, just as it is playing with fire to risk not paying the debt ceiling.

Imagine for a moment Palin or Bachmann saying something this stupid. So-called journalists - especially those on MSNBC! - would have a field day with it.

Matthews would call the speaker a balloon head, spending the next several days playing the comment over and over while claiming it shows a deplorable lack of knowledge about our political system thereby disqualifying said person from public office.

By contrast, and this is only a guess on my part, I highly doubt the "Hardball" host or any of the other shills on MSNBC will at all question the intellectual capacity of the Senior Senator from New York if this flub is even mentioned.

And even though it's filmed inside Schumer's state, I don't expect the folks at "Saturday Night Live" will do an opening sketch this weekend about their Senator's gaffe much as they did for Bachmann last weekend.
Perish the thought, for as we've seen so often in recent years from the liberal media, errors by Democrats are human; forgiving them is divine.

Conservative / Christian Actors Told to Hide Beliefs

Conservative actors bemoan "intolerant" Hollywood

Actor Clint Howard accepts the Lifetime Achievement award which he won at the 1998 MTV Movie Awards which were taped May 30 in Santa Monica. Reuters/FileReuters LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - It's not easy being a Republican in Hollywood, even if your brother is an A-list director and producer. That's what actor Clint Howard told attendees at a California GOP convention over the weekend.

Howard, an actor since 1961 and the younger brother of filmmaker Ron Howard, said that while he is comfortable speaking publicly about his conservatism, his advice to Republicans looking to break into the industry is to keep their political opinions to themselves, even though Hollywood liberals seldom do.

About five years ago, "I came out of the closet. In Hollywood. I certainly understand that's dangerous," said Howard, an MTV Movie Awards lifetime achievement honoree.

"If the entertainment industry should turn on me, I'd say, 'Well fine.' But for young conservatives, you may hear me speak out but let me tell you: Be careful," he said.

Howard was joined by Morgan Brittany, one of the stars of the 1980s nighttime soap opera "Dallas." The pair noted a leftward slide in the industry and an intolerance for political dissent over the decades.

"I'd go out on location with the 'Dallas' crew," she told members of the California Congress of Republicans in Valencia on Saturday. "Everybody in the van was bashing (President Reagan). I never said anything because I thought I'd lose my job. And I probably would have lost my job. I got to a point later on, after 'Dallas' was over and I had my two children, that I said, 'enough is enough. I'm not going to be silent any longer'," she said.

"If I'm silent then I'm enabling these people and I'm letting them win. They need to know that we're out there. That we're strong and that we have ideas and solutions."

The reaction to her newfound political courage back then wasn't pretty.

"Oh man, the flack I took from the people, the agencies -- 'oh, you can't say that. You can't do that. Casting people might see you. And directors!'"

"What is this, the blacklist?" she said. "They're not going to hire me because I have an opinion? That's the way Hollywood is and, unfortunately, I got that. But I still wasn't going to back down."

Brittany, who was one of the most visible celebrities supporting the McCain-Palin Republican ticket during the last presidential election, has a daughter in her 20s who is a struggling actress. Her advice to her is: "Don't tell them you're my daughter."

Brittany told of building a friendship with actor Ed Asner, a sometimes activist for progressive causes, when the two starred in a stage-play together during the infamous Florida recount that put Republican George W. Bush in the White House over Democrat Al Gore. And she told how she lost Asner's friendship due to politics.

"Every night he just loved me and came in and gave me a big hug," she said. "Then one night he was going crazy about Gore and Bush and stealing the election. I'm backstage and I said, 'Ed, chill, not everybody thinks the way you do'."

"Well, where do I begin?" I swear. It was like a light switch," she said. "He turned to me and said, 'you're not a Republican?' I said, 'yep.' And he said, 'I can't even look at you. I can't even talk to you'.

"From that moment on, he never spoke to me again, except on stage," she said. "This is what we're dealing with. The intolerance of the left."

She said that while a starlet in her 20s she met with the late Jay Bernstein, who managed the careers of Farrah Fawcett and Suzanne Somers back in the day, but the meeting went awry after Bernstein noticed the cross Brittany wore around her neck.

She said Bernstein told her: "You're going to have to lose that, honey.

In this town, you can't be religious, and you can't be conservative."

"He was a star-making manager, but I couldn't sign on with him," Brittany said.

As for Howard, he said he avoids talking politics while on the set, even though the other side shows less restraint. While shooting "Frost/Nixon," for example, he got so sick of an outspoken liberal actor (whom he wouldn't name) "spewing venom" that he finally told him to "knock it off."

"I had to listen to a lot of it, but I never thought the workplace was the right time to get into it," he said.

He also said politics never comes between him and his liberal brother Ron.

"I have a wonderful older brother. It's a shame he sits on the wrong side of the dinner table," he said. "It never gets uncomfortable with Ron and I. We just differ politically and that's okay. He's just wrong and I'm right. I believe that in my heart of hearts."

ISLAMIC IDEOLOGS BEHIND EGYPT UNREST!

Submitted by: Barbara Payne

A Rabbi SPEAKS TRUTH ABOUT EGYPT

Always up early. Coffee in hand and listening to the radio chatter of the Egyptian Military. It’s about to hit the fan. The Muslim Brotherhood, ISM, and members of Fatah and Hamas are being rounded up quietly. The thanks have moved into Liberty Square. Helicopters are searching by air over the entire region. Hamas and Hizbollah are trying to escape into Gaza.  American protester are being order out of the country or face immediate arrest. Europeans are being arrested along with Islamonazi’s.

Islamic terrorist attempted a coup in the Sinai as well. The Egyptian government knows that the US was behind the uprising namely the Obama regime. This is no going to bode well for his political career.  The Egyptians have closed off the Rafiah border near Gaza and have so far killed 12 Palestinian Bedouin Terrorist sent Fatah and Hamas into the Sinai. The Egyptian army has also torched a police station with Palestinians inside it who would not surrender.  The northern Sinai Peninsula is the center of smuggling of drugs, terrorists, weapons into Gaza like Mexico is to the US.

The Egyptian Intelligence Units have cleared the Army of Egypt to enter Gaza and have notified us here in Jerusalem of their intent. We are sending forces into the area to prevent Hamas escape.

The Alliance of Youth Movements Summit’ in New York occured during December 3-5th where all this was planned. Many of those who attended this terror conference are in Egypt at present and will not be allowed to leave. They are rounding them up as we speak.

Near City Center in Cairo Egyptian Elite Units are going door to door arresting insurgents.

Egyptian Intelligence Agents state over cables that “U.S. Ambassador to Egypt Margaret Scobey, has been coordinating this protest for over two years and she notified Secretary Clinton about this using the code name “April 6″. Clinton responded; (according to the Egyptians) that the Obama Administration wants a more “Parliamentarian Government” so as to allow the Muslim Brotherhood seats of power. The Egyptians government staff are cursing the US regime and are vowing “global humiliation” of the Obama regime.

The Egyptian Military chatter indicates that “Obama betrayed us” this is a constant complaint over the radio. Our sources indicate their is smoke rising over Cairo in various places.

The Egyptian Intelligence Service says they have proof of Obama’s complicity and will file a complaint against the US with the UN Security Council. They also claim the so called “Human Rights” abuses were done at the request of the US to suppress terror organizations.

To say the Egyptian are furious is an understatement. We have given Mubarak permission to use Israeli air bases as a means of exit if need be to Jordan. The King of Jordan has asked us to close the Israeli Jordanian border while they quietly go about their round up.

Egypt has shut down Al Jazeera and ordered them out of the country, they were using their camera crews to provide Hamas insurgents with troop locations and numbers.

A Muslim Brotherhood agent Tayseir Mahmoud from Houston Texas, USA representing the Houston Sharia Academy has been mentioned as they round up her relatives there in Egypt. (She is a vocal spokesperson) against the Mubarak government and is in support of the Muslim Brotherhood.

There is a great deal of chatter going on right now, we will have to sort a lot of it out before it runs together into word salad. Again, the Egyptian government is very angry and if I know them they won’t let this go. OPEC states are also in conference as we speak discussing sanction against the West for this betrayal. This will work wonderfully into the Soros plan because Oil and food prices will sky rocket. Soros is poised to make hundreds of billions in profit while the world bleeds. This is another complaint of the Egyptians coming across the short wave radios.

The Obama regime is WAY out of their element. This isn’t the corrupt streets of Chicago, this is the real world.

L’Shalom,

Rabbi Vliyam

CARTER TOPPLED THE SHAH – OBAMA AIMING AT MURABAK – ONE UPPANCE?

Submitted by:  Barbara Payne

The US government had been planning to topple the Egyptian President for the past three years – that is according to diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks.

The files show Washington had secretly been backing leading figures behind the uprising, which has seen more than one hundred people killed and over 2,000 injured since it began on Tuesday.

Analysts have pointed fingers at the US, accusing it of trying to change the politics of Egypt’s regime.

It’s obvious that the US and the UK are behind the recent events in Africa,” said Nikolay Starikov, an author and publisher. “We all know that a major transport oil artery is running through Egypt. The US only benefits from high oil prices, as all global gas and oil trade is carried out in dollars. Thus, the dollar demand is only growing. I don’t believe in spontaneous revolutions – when hundreds of thousands, millions of people come out onto the streets at the same time, taking into account there’s been no serious or immediate change to their standards of living.”

Unrest in Egypt comes weeks after a month of chaos in Tunisia, which saw 80 deaths and the president being toppled before fleeing into exile.

Many Egyptians, who have taken to the streets, have reported being beaten by police following their arrest. Mobile clinics throughout capital Cairo continue to operate. Despite the imposed curfew, thousands remain out in the streets in defiance of authorities.

The famed Cairo museum is reported to have been looted, with mummies ransacked. Also, people in different neighborhoods say their homes were broken into and goods stolen.

Meanwhile, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has tried to address the protesters’ demands by appointing, for the first time in 30 years, the country’s first vice-president – the intelligence chief and confidante Omar Suleiman. The new Prime Minister, Ahmed Shafik, has been tasked with forming a new government. However, protesters insist President Mubarak should step down.
